Cheri Bourne , Voice Instructor Cherie Bourne has been teaching private piano and vocal lessons at the Music Machine and Studios since 2002. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (2002) with a major in Music Education K-12. While at Berklee she studied piano with Steve Heck. She has recently finished her Masters Degree in Music Education from Gordon College (2006). Cherie has continued her vocal development taking lessons with Easton local Lin Schuller. As an alumna of Oliver Ames High School (1998), Cherie has remained active in the community by volunteering as Oliver Ames Marching Band Staff (1998-2000) and has been directing the Easton Jr. High School Show Choir since 2000. Cherie has taught music in the Brockton Public School System for over four years and is currently teaching at Cohasset Middle School as Band and Chorus Director. Paula Greiner, Voice & Piano Instructor • Studied voice with Peter Elvins, Demetra George and Gale Fuller • Coached with J. Scott Brumit and Michael Strauss • Studied Piano with Craig J. Stine • Teaching voice and piano for 27 years (20 years at the Music Machine) Paula has been singing professionally since the age of 12 and is best known in the area for her work as a soloist, accompanist, director and teacher. Although her vocal specialties include opera, art song, broadway and sacred music, she believes that every voice is unique and that sound technique transcends any musical style. She loves to sing and play the piano and is enthusiastic in sharing that joy with others, not only in her performing but also in her teaching. She is devoted to encouraging her students to realize their musical potential through knowledge, performance and hard work! Paula's Policies Pauls is available to teach Mon-Wed 3:00-7:30 and Thu 3:00-6:30. Her rate is currently $23/half hour. Each student is allowed to reschedule up to four lessons per year beginning each September provided they inform the store ahead of time of the cancellation . (Make-up lessons must be scheduled by Aug 31st). Refer to the website for availability of times for make-up lessons. Students who remain enrolled for July & August will receive two additional Make-up lessons should they need them. If Paula is absent, she will issue a credit to her students towards next month's lessons.
